Nathan Weldler is a strong leader and executive with more than twenty-five years of successful operational and executive experience for both publicly traded and privately held companies. He is skilled in all aspects of property management, asset management, sales and marketing, reorganization, building corporate structure, integrating technological strategies, acquisitions and dispositions. Nathan’s experience and his extensive technical and systems expertise bring a unique combination which allows him to utilize software solutions to implement organizational accountability throughout the company.
Nathan is one of the founding principals of Elon Property Management. Elon currently manages over 15,000 units in multiple states. Since joining Elon, Mr. Weldler has been responsible for property management, strategic and operational decision making, asset management and real estate investment activities. He is also responsible for its overall corporate strategy. Through Nathan’s effective strategic planning, well spent capital investments, and property management skills, Elon’s revenues have increased by over 12% in just two years.
From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Weldler served as Co-President of Empirian Property Management. He oversaw the management of over 40,000 multi-family units in more than twenty states.
From 2003 to 2008, Nathan held several Executive Positions with The Lightstone Group, including Executive Vice President of Property Management, with a portfolio of over 20,000 multi-family units. Nathan was part of the team which raised more than 90 million dollars for the publicly traded Lightstone REIT.
Nathan was Senior Vice President for five years at Comverge Technologies, a subsidiary of the publicly traded company, DSSI. During his tenure at the Company, he helped position it to go public.
Nathan takes an active role in his community and volunteers his time for worthy causes. Nathan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from CUNY in Economics and Computers.

Sam Moerman is an accomplished leader with more than twenty years of real estate executive management experience with multi-family, retail and commercial properties. He is well-versed in all aspects of property management, asset management, sales and marketing, restructuring, acquisitions and dispositions. Sam’s exuberant personality is reflected in his strong rapport with his employees, his leadership style and ability to motivate.
In December 2011, Mr. Moerman co-founded Elon Property Management and currently serves as President and one of its principals, managing more than 15,000 multi-family units in 11 states. In his role as president at Elon Property Management, Mr. Moerman provides strategic direction for Elon, oversees all capital investments, and ensures all properties achieve maximum performance. Mr. Moerman is also heavily involved in real estate acquisitions and due diligence.
Prior to joining Elon, Sam was the Co-President of Empirian Property Management from 2008 through 2011. During his tenure at Empirian, Sam oversaw all aspects of the management of more than 40,000 multi-family units. The properties were located in diverse markets in the United States.
Sam served as Vice President from 1997 until 2008 at The Lightstone Group. Mr. Moerman was part of a core team that grew the management company from 1300 multi-family units into one of the largest privately held real estate companies in the United States.
Prior to joining The Lightstone Group, Mr. Moerman served as Chief Operating Officer for a web-based communications company. During his time at the company, Sam was instrumental in the exponential growth of the Company and positioned it for a profitable sale.
Sam is a twenty year veteran EMT volunteer and is an active and respected member of his community. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from BMG.

Moshe is responsible for creating the internal control procedures and corporate processes that ensure the integrity of cash, income and expenses. He works closely with all levels of management to identify and implement best practices to maximize profitability. Mr. Gelfond has created and implemented the checks and balances necessary for operating in today’s compliance-focused business world.
Moshe has worked in many industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, not-for-profit and real estate. Using his experience as an auditor and a private company financial manager, Moshe understands what drives the numbers.
Moshe is a CPA and a Chartered Global Managerial Accountant, CGMA. He holds a degree from Florida Atlantic University in Accounting and Philosophy. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the NJ Society of CPAs.

Aaron launched his career at 19 as a residential mortgage broker in 2004, transitioning into property management amid the 2007 recession. He swiftly rose to manage a significant East Coast multifamily portfolio as a project asset manager, and later excelled in acquisition brokerage, achieving major transaction milestones. Aaron founded several successful companies and a non-profit organization, leveraging his entrepreneurial spirit to drive both business and community impacts. Under the mentorship of Bob Knakal, he specialized in off-market industrial and multi-family properties. Aaron is also a Commercial Real Estate Editor for Authority Magazine.

Hadassah began her career in HR in 2003 with Time Warner’s Worldwide Recruitment and Executive Search, before transferring to Time Warner Cable Media Sales, joining their Human Resources department. Hadassah transitioned from the Media and Entertainment industry to Real Estate in 2008 and has been working with the Elon portfolio for the last 12 years.

Prior to joining Elon, Amanda held a Corporate Trainer position with Empirian Property Management, responsible for converting over 330 apartment communities to a new management software program, Yardi Voyager. In earlier years, Amanda worked the ranks from Leasing Consultant to District Manager, learning all of the operations of the business along the way. Amanda also brings 10+ years of experience in software training and education.

She started her industry career with a private developer in Cleveland, Ohio as a Customer Service Representative. She worked her way up into leasing and was then promoted to a Property Manager position. Upon her departure, Laura was the Director of Leasing, where she specialized in new construction lease ups.
Laura is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organization Communications with an emphasis on Training and Development.
Robert is a Regional Vice President for Elon Property Management. He joined the organization as a Senior District Manager in the Columbus, Ohio market. He relocated back home in 2016 to Indianapolis, supervising over 7000 units in the Central portfolio.
He entered the industry in 2000 working on a large luxury Class A lease-up. From there

Robert pushes himself to look ahead to find the solutions of potential challenges. This quality, along with his experience, has allowed him to be successful with all classes of projects, lease-ups, and full property renovations.
Robert holds an Organization Leadership and Supervision degree from Indiana University. He served on the Board of Directors for the Apartment Association of FWNEI, chairing the Outreach Committee. On the weekends you will find him hiking, kayaking, and volunteering for a canine rescue organization.

Karla entered the industry in 2003 as a District Manager for Equity Residential and worked her way up to become a Regional Manager for Empirian Property Management overseeing the Ohio Region.
Before entering the multi-family industry, Karla was employed by YUM Brand restaurants and held Senior Management and Training positions for over 10 years, specializing in employee retention, training and managing daily operations of multiple restaurants throughout Ohio. This experience in leadership allowed Karla to cross over into the multi-family industry easily with a strong proven ability to manage people and work well with others from hands on experience.
Toni joined Elon Property Management as a District Manager in the Augusta, GA area in the Southeast Region. She is now Regional Vice President supervising over 2700 apartment homes in the Southeast Region including Georgia and Alabama.

Through the years she began learning all areas of business operations until her advancement to District Manager with Equity Residential. Toni brings a unique ability to build solid and sustaining teams and possesses strong local market expertise. She is a problem solver with strengths in budgeting and financial management.
Toni’s hobbies include traveling, trips to the beach and volunteering.
